A few weeks after helping defeat Alabama in the national championship game in January, Burton made a business decision and opted to leave Georgia and join the Tide as a transfer. With Alabama losing its top three receivers, Burton will have an opportunity to flourish this season.

21. Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Alabama

Lamar Jackson needs more weapons on offense, regardless of where they line up. Gibbs is a versatile playmaker who would be a perfect fit for this offense, as the Ravens could dial up creative ways for Jackson to get him the ball.

22. Eli Ricks, CB, Alabama

A top-20 recruit in the 2020 high school class, Ricks started at LSU and was a third-team All-American as a freshman before transferring to Alabama.

Player who benefited most from draft: WR Rashod Bateman

Bateman is the unquestioned No. 1 wide receiver for Lamar Jackson after the Ravens traded Marquise "Hollywood" Brown to the Cardinals and then didn't use any of their 11 draft picks on a wide receiver. Bateman, Baltimore's top pick from a year ago, showed flashes of becoming a go-to target as a rookie and has put the time in to build a connection with Jackson with their frequent throwing sessions this offseason. Now he will get plenty of opportunities with the departure of Brown, whose 146 targets ranked 10th in the NFL last season. -- Jamison Hensley

The Ravens are just good at this. Disappointments connected to an injury-ravaged 2021 season aside, Baltimore has remained an AFC power player for the better part of two decades thanks in large part to an uncanny knack for knowing who to pick and when. The team's two first-round selections this year -- safety Kyle Hamilton and center Tyler Linderbaum -- profile as Day 1 starters and instant difference-makers, while the move to select highly skilled outside linebacker David Ojabo -- who tore his Achilles tendon in March -- could pay big dividends in 2023. Meanwhile, the trade of Marquise Brown to Arizona for a first-round pick was more ace maneuvering by GM Eric DeCosta. Brown wanted out and never lived up to his own first-round status.
