23. Noah Sewell, LB, Oregon

The younger brother of Penei Sewell, Sewell is well-strapped together with the power, pursuit and recognition skills that will play well in the NFL. He led the Ducks in tackles last season (106) and is arguably the best off-ball linebacker in college football.

Draft Wire - Luke Easterling (5/3)

24. Peter Skoronski, OT, Northwestern

The rebuild continues for the Dallas offensive line, as they land Skoronski to start at right tackle, allowing 2022 first-round pick Tyler Smith to remain as a dominant guard.

Fox Sports - Jason McIntyre (5/3)

25. Brenton Cox Jr., EDGE, Florida

Cox started at Georgia, transferred to Florida and has tormented SEC QBs to the tune of 24.5 sacks in 25 games.

Player who benefited most from draft: LB Micah Parsons

The Cowboys want to keep the versatility that helped Parsons win the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award. Owner Jerry Jones has referred to Parsons' position as a "Micah player." He can be a linebacker. He can be a pass-rusher. Had the Cowboys not selected Sam Williams in the second round, they would have kept that plan in place, but Williams presents the Cowboys -- and Parsons -- with more options. Williams goes into a pass-rush pool with DeMarcus Lawrence, Dorance Armstrong and Dante Fowler Jr. Parsons can continue to move between positions with ease, especially with Leighton Vander Esch's return via free agency and Jabril Cox's return from injury. -- Todd Archer

Drafting an offensive lineman in the first round doesn't usually titillate a fan base, but the move to grab Tulsa mauler Tyler Smith at 24th overall made sense for a Dallas team that has seen age and turnover gradually diminish the blockers in front of Dak Prescott. Jerry Jones and friends also probably hoped they'd come out of this draft with one of the buzzy wide receivers, but the six biggest names were already history by the time the Cowboys were on the clock in the first. There's no doubt the Eagles made themselves a more competitive team this offseason ... Can you honestly say the same about America's Team? The NFC East is about to tighten up.
